The Integrative Medicine Network is designed to help fulfill the mission of bringing ‘best care’ practices to group health plan programs and their members. Far different and more sophisticated than ordinary discount or affinity networks, IMN doctors are committed to the advancement of integrated care through data collection and Evidenced Based Outcomes (EBO) analysis.
The IMN has created this web site to provide its members with resources, access to services and innovative tools to develop integrative practices. This pioneering service is based on a three-tier platform that welcomes both experienced integrative medical doctors and providers early in the discovery stage as well as other healthcare providers and clinicians. Health, Inc have clients that require the ability to access a network
of credentialed providers who practice integrated medicine and commit
to an agreed fee schedule and an accountability process. Current CAM discount
or affinity networks are a stop-gap measure to satisfy consumer demand,
but do nothing to integrate care and have not been shown to reduce claims
expenditures. The great majority of Plans on a national basis use these
discount networks. IMN understands this market dynamic and will continue
to advise Health Plan Sponsors on the benefits of integrated network designs.
